Dear Friends,

Most of you have visited, or at least heard about Green Valley Ranch in Aubrey, Texas.  It is truly one of the most impressive facilities devoted to horses in the world.  Many great horses have been bred and trained there over the years.

Green Valley Ranch hasn’t been a home only to many great horses, but to some fabulous people as well. The current owners, Wallis and Jane Winegar, are wonderful people with huge hearts.  Anybody and everybody you might come into contact with at GVR have an amazing personality and welcoming attitude. Brent Loseke, one of Green Valley’s horse trainers, is one of those people that has greeted and treated GVR guests with a smile since the Winegar's purchased the ranch six years ago. Unfortunately, Brent Loseke can no longer treat and greet you because he has decided to leave the GVR community.

The Loseke family has loved the entire experience of moving to and working for Green Valley, but Brent wants to loosen the reins a bit. GVR is definitely a beautiful ranch and a thrill to be a part of, but after six years at GVR, and a lot of years at other places before that, of trying to do the best job possible of training and marketing big numbers of horses, Brent realized that something was missing.  What was missing was the one on one connection to every horse, which can only be accomplished with time.  It is a thing that can’t be rushed, and can’t always be accomplished by an assistant, even though Brent has had some great ones over the years.  Brent wanted to get back to riding for the same reason he chose to pursue the dream of being a trainer more than thirty years ago, because he loves horses and never wanted to do anything else.

Our new slogan: “Less Is More!”.

The Loseke’s have built a ten-stall barn on their ten-acre plot of property. Brent intends to continue training horses but on a much smaller scale. He will devote all of his time and energy to ten of the best horses he can find.

Brent and his family would like to thank the Winegars for the amazing friendship and opportunities they presented and will be forever grateful. So…. If you share our love of great horses, we would love to hear from you in the near future.

Sincerely yours and forever at your service,
The Loseke Family
